Crumble with Maple Vanilla Cream

Ingredients
- 1½ cups Sunbeam Gourmet Mixed Fruit
- 4 Granny smith apples, peeled
- ¼ cup CSR Caster Sugar
- 1 tsp Masterfoods Ground Cinnamon
- ¾ cupwater
- 125g Butter, melted
- ¾ cup White Wings Plain Flour
- ¾ cup Sunbeam Almond Meal
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- ¾ cup CSR Brown Sugar
- 1tsp Queens Vanilla Bean Paste
Cream:
- 300ml Pouring cream
- 2 Tbsp Queens Maple Syrup
- ½ tsp Queens Vanilla Bean Paste
- ¼ tsp Masterfoods Ground Cinnamon
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Place mixed fruit, apple, caster sugar, cinnamon and water into a saucepan. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10mins or until apple is soft.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, almond meal, brown sugar and oats together. Stir in butter and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Place fruit mixture into a 20cm oven proof pie dish and top with the crumble mixture. Bake for 15mins.
- Combine cream, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon in a jug. Serve with the warm Christmas fruit crumble.
