Cake in a Cup™

Adding marshmallows to your Double Chocolate Cake in A Cup™ mix is perfect for a sweet 3pm treat. 

As an indulgent finishing touch, drizzle chocolate sauce and add a scoop of ice-cream.



To avoid losing any of your delicious cake:

Use a 310mL capacity mug
To add the right quantity of milk, use a measuring spoon (20mL)

Baking tips for a fluffy, moist Cake in a Cup:

Cook on high for 1 minute using an 800W microwave
Cook for 1 minute at 75% of high power using an 1000W microwave
Be careful when removing your cup from the microwave, it may be hot!


  • 1 Cake In A Cup Double Chocolate packet mix
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Mini Marshmallows


  • Combine 1 cake mix sachet with 2 tablespoons of milk in a microwave-safe mug.
  • Stir vigorously for 30 seconds with a spoon until evenly blended and smooth.
  • Fold through 1 tablespoon of mini marshmallows.
  • Microwave for 1 minute. Remove mug from handle and let it stand before enjoying. Sprinkle a few marshmallows on top, add a scoop of your favourite ice-cream or drizzle with chocolate sauce.
