Anzac Biscuits

Traditional Anzac biscuits are the perfect option with a cup of tea, or as a party item.



  • ½ cup (75g) White Wings Plain Flour
  • ¾ cup (70g) Rolled Oats
  • 1 Tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Boiling Water
  • ⅓ cup (75g) Sugar
  • ⅔ cup (60g) Coconut
  • 50g Butter
  • ½ tsp Bicarbonate of Soda


  • Preheat oven to 170°C. Line 2 oven trays with non-stick baking paper.
  • Mix together flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats. Melt butter and golden syrup. Dissolve bicarbonate of soda in the boiling water and add to butter and golden syrup. Stir butter mixture into the dry ingredients.
  • Shape level tablespoons of mixture into balls and place onto prepared trays, about 5cm apart. Press to flatten.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
