Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease a 5-cup capacity loaf pan and line with non-stick baking paper. |

Sift flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a bowl. Mix in sugar. |

In another bowl lightly beat eggs. Stir in milk, butter or margarine and banana. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Spoon into prepared pan. |

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes. Leave in tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool. |
