Preheat oven and mix batterPreheat oven to 200C (400F) or 180C for fan-forced. Empty the sponge mix sachet into a mixing bowl. Add egg and water. Using electric mixer beat on medium speed for 1 minute. |

AssembleSpread batter into an ungreased 1 – 1 ½ litre (4-6 cup) ovenproof baking dish. Sprinkle the sauce sachet evenly over the surface of batter. |

Add boiling water and bakePour boiling water carefully over the pudding (no need to mix further). Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with cream or ice cream. |
