Preheat
Preheat oven to 180C (350F) or 160C for fan-forced. Line with patty pans 12 X 1/3cup capacity muffin tray. |

Mix
Empty the cake mix sachet into a mixing bowl. Add eggs, milk and margarine spread or soft butter. Using electric mixer beat on low speed for 30 seconds to combine. Increase speed to medium and mix for 3 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl occasionally.

Bake
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Stand 5 minutes before turning onto a wire rack to cool.

Frosting
Combine frosting sachet ingredients and margarine spread or soft butter in a bowl. Using electric mixer beat on low speed for 30 seconds to combine. Increase speed to high and mix for 3 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl occasionally. Spread over cooled cup cakes.
