Walnut and Choc Chip Cookies

All you need

  • 1 pack White Wings Choc Chip Cookies 485g
  • 1 egg
  • 40mL (2 Tbsp) milk
  • 40mL (2 Tbsp) oil
  • ½ cup (60g) chopped walnuts or your favourite nuts
  • 100g cooking milk chocolate

Preparation

  • Preparation time: 15 mins
  • Cooking time: 10-15 minutes for soft cookies, 15-18 minutes for crisp cookies
  • Serves: 16 large or 24 small

Preheat

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) or 160°C for fan-forced. Grease or line the base of a biscuit tray with baking paper.

Mix

Empty sachet into mixing bowl. Add egg, milk, oil and walnuts or your favourite nuts. Mix with wooden spoon until combined, knead mixture with hands to create a dough.

Bake

Roll the mix into 16 balls for large cookies (or 24 balls for smaller cookies) and place on a tray, leaving approx 10cm between balls. Bake 1 tray at a time for 10-15 minutes for soft cookies or 15-18 minutes for crisp cookies. When removed from the oven, cookie centre will be soft to the touch but firm at the edges. Allow to cool on the tray for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack.
 

Prepare filling

Prepare by melting the cooking milk chocolate and drizzle over cooled biscuits.
