Choc Crumble Muffins

All you need

  • 1 pack White Wings Triple Choc Muffins 550g
  • 1 egg
  • 250mL (1 cup) milk
  • 60mL (3 Tbsp) oil
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 30g soft butter
  • ½ cup chopped peanuts

Preparation

  • Preparation time: 10 mins
  • Cooking time: 18-20 mins
  • Serves: 12

Preheat

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) or 180°C for fan-forced. Lightly grease a 12 x ⅓ cup capacity standard muffin tray.

Prepare

Prepare crumble style topping mix by rubbing flour and soft butter together. Add chopped peanuts and sachet of choc chips to the flour and butter mix.

Mix

Empty the sachet into a mixing bowl. Add egg, milk and oil. Mix with a wooden spoon until just combined.
 

Bake

Spoon mix into muffin holes and top with crumble mix. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into centre comes out clean. Stand 2 minutes. Lift the muffins out of the holes onto a wire rack to cool.
